What does Finance of Kansas, Inc. (hereinafter “FinanceCo”) do with your personal information?

How does FinanceCo collect my personal information?


We collect your personal information, for example, when you:

  • apply for financing
  • give us your income information or provide employment information
  • give us your contact information


We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies. We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.


Why can't I limit all sharing?


Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

  • sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market you
  • sharing for non affiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions:


Affiliates - Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or nonfinancial companies. Our affiliates include the following nonfinancial companies: Lubbers Chevrolet, Inc., Lubbers Ford, Inc., Lubbers L.L.C. dba Lubbers Hutch.


Non Affiliates - Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. FinanceCo does not share with non affiliates so they can market you.
